I love new beginnings and September is my favorite month for making changes. It's a good time to consider if you will continue what you did last year and whether that brought you the results you hoped for.
For example, make a chart like the one below  and jot down the major activities where you spend your energy and time.  It's an eye-opener when you compare your calendar and paycheck and circle of people from last September to what it will be this coming year.

At the beginning of each month you might want to use the personal habit I use of listing three personal goals for the month. I know the appointments, urgencies and interruptions will all happen, but they won't move my "life" ahead.

So what would you write? For example, my goals for September include writing two new websites, getting in my business paperwork for an out of state change, and getting my email In-Box down daily to single digits weekly. It keeps my daily tasks focused.

Keep this where you will see it each day either on a 3 x 5 card, a white board, or on the top of your monthly calendar- or all three! You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish!

   Today's Paper Tip:

"Sort your paperwork by asking, "Is this paper worth my time and space to deal with it?" If the answer is no, let it go. If the answer is yes, get it done as soon as possible.
